Sebastian Izzard is a specialist dealer in Japanese fine art focusing on ukiyo-e (images of the floating world). He is a former senior vice-president of Christie’s and has been a private gallery owner and art consultant in New York since 1998. He has assisted in the formation of several distinguished collections of Japanese paintings and prints. He is a member of the International Ukiyo-e Society (based in Tokyo), Japanese Art Society of America (JASA), Japanese Art Dealers Association of New York (JADA), and the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA).
